Year of the Girl Guide 2010

The Australian Government has officially announced that 2010 will be designated Year of the Girl Guide in support of the Guides' centenary celebrations. For 100 years the Guiding movement has supported Australian girls to grow into confident and inspiring young women. Over one million Australian women have been or are still Guides. The motto for the centenary year is 'Let's celebrate our past, live the present and power into the future'.
