Values in Action Schools Project - Applications

Schools wishing to submit an application for the Values in Action Schools Project need to carefully read the following instructions before completing the online application form. There are steps to complete and information you will need to gather before accessing the online application form.

  1. Read the Application Guidelines online or download the Application Guidelines and other supporting documents from this page (see below).
  2. Read the Application Guidelines carefully, follow the instructions and refer to them as you complete the online application form.
  3. Together with your cluster colleagues, complete a draft of your project proposal as an MS-Word document. This ensures that you will have a record of your responses in the event of any technical difficulties. You may wish to use Form 2: Selection criteria, as a template. It can be downloaded as an MS-Word document (see below).
  4. When you have collected the required information from your cluster schools (see Forms 1 and 3), and completed your responses to the selection criteria in MS-Word, you are ready to complete the online application form.
  5. When you enter the online application form for the first time, you will need to complete the new registration details (username, password, email). Please make a note of your registration details to use the next time you log in. If you forget your password there is a retrieval link next to the log in box.
  6. Copy and paste your responses and information into the online application form. The online form ‘times out’ after 20 minutes which is also a good reason for keeping your responses as a separate document.
  7. If you don’t complete the application in one session, you can log in to the online application form and make changes at any time up until the closing date. There is no Submit button. Every time you Save and exit the application form your application will be submitted.
  8. Applications must be completed by 5.00pm (Eastern Standard Summer Time) on Friday 14 November 2008, via the online application form. Please note: the online application form will not be accessible after this time.
