- Cross-curricular focus initiatives or groups, including electronic networks and communities of learning.
This self-paced values education professional learning opportunity will involve a cross-curricular approach focused on Society and History, English/Literacy, ICT and e-learning. The focus will be on students joining an online community of youth interested in global understanding and common issues, and in creating positive change. It will be centred on the TakingITGlobal: inspire, inform, involve online community of learners.
The purpose of the online activity is for students to create a Tasmanian presence on the website and to communicate locally, nationally and internationally with students from diverse backgrounds and widely differing environments. In preparing and sharing materials, students will be identifying and exploring values such as respect, responsibility, understanding, tolerance and inclusion.
