Values Education State Conference (for State schools only)
Citizens for the 21st Century – What State Schools Value
21 April 2008, Sofitel Hotel, Brisbane

This conference will be both a celebration and a review of the Australian Government’s Values Education initiative through a state schools’ lens and a gateway into the new Queensland State Schools Framework: What State Schools Value – Active and Informed Citizens for a Sustainable World. The conference will strongly feature the principles of the Earth Charter which have been incorporated into the statewide SOSE curriculum and Mara Bun, CEO Green Cross Australia, will present the keynote address.
