About Values Education Good Practice Schools Project

The Values Education Good Practice Schools Project–Stages 1 and 2 is part of the Australian Government’s Values Education program funded with $29.7 million over four years (2004-2008). The program is designed to foster and support improved values education practice in Australian schools. The program supports the National Framework for Values Education in Australian Schools, which has been endorsed by all Australian Education Ministers.

Values Education Good Practice Schools Project–Stage 1 projects have now been completed. A final report will be written and published on the website.

The Australian Government has approved the selection of 25 successful school clusters to participate in the Values Education Good Practice Schools Project – Stage 2.  All schools were invited to take part in the Values Education Good Practice Schools Project–Stage 2.  

As the projects are implemented this website will publish news, updates and reports on the projects' progress.
